This guide covers transcription style at Expert Radiology and includes some tips that I think will help you learn the steps/process much easier. It will be very helpful for you to follow this manual; however, you should consider this information as a loose guideline and remember to always reach out to a lead transcriptionist with any questions.

Onboarding and Initial Training:
******* Rad Review statuses need to be kept at a minimum, particularly if it is something that could be figured out or answered. Also if a message needs to be sent to a reader, please keep it brief. Chats are getting congested and readers do not have the time nor do they want to read long explanations/questions. Rad Review status affects radiologist’s efficiency. I don’t want them pushing for VR. We use MTs to improve radiologist’s output per hour.**
